It's sunny in West Virginia for Day 39. Patrick makes some turns and some food before he get's on the road to drive back home to Ohio. The stoves keep his food warm for the drive home. Hot food all the way home - no fuel needed.
Can Patrick get enough calories at the top of the mountain wile only solar cooking with a GoSun? He places the GoSun Go at the top of the list while he goes adventuring around the mountain. Puddle skimming anyone?
Another crispy morning but lots of Sun to cook with on Day 37. The lunch menu today is provided by team member Grace. Sausages cooked in wine, polenta and home grown tomato sauce round out the meal. Buonissimo!
Patrick scrapes off the ice to get going on Day 36. The team takes advantage of the beautiful day to cook a bunch of food. Matt uses the Brew to make some tea. Davey makes Thai green curry pies in the GoSun Go and there is plenty of Sun to go around.
Three inches of snow on Day 35 and time to clean off the solar stoves. Quinoa from the weekend, 26 hour eggs and Patrick is getting pretty hungry. He breaks out some GoSun R and D magic powered by the sun for dinner.
Patrick had some unfortunate day today. The sun was behind the clouds so he had to resort to leftovers from previous food cooked in the Sun. Looks like there is snow coming in tonight so it will be interesting to see what is next.
Great day for solar cooking today. Patrick, with some help from Suzi makes steak, pork, eggplant, and a bunch of other sides. He is able to feed the whole team and even manages to get some cake out to everyone.
Sunny sparkly morning and time for some spring cleaning. Patrick heats up some food and tests a bunch of other things on Day 32. Gary Starr is in town and the two share some food in the evening. Use More Sun.
The team cooks another meal for Patrick. Pad thai, chocolate brownies, twice baked potatoes rounded out the solar menu. Sun baking cats, a visit to a local nursery and friends makes Day 30 a great day.
The team caught Patrick some salmon for lunch and made desert in the GoSun Go. Patrick does some R&D on a new product and on the GoSun Grill and is able to get it hotter than ever with the Turbo Accellerator. Good days.
