Patrick starts out the day with Ryan at the warehouse then it is off to a DHL event where CEO Greg Hewitt announced that in an effort to reduce their carbon footprint, DHL plans on running 50% of their fleet on electric.
Davey Jones does the cooking for Patrick today. Lamb meatballs and minted peas are on tap for Patrick's palette today. Davey's passion for cooking is clearly a positive contribution to the 40 Days of Sunshine.
Overnight eggs in the GoSun Sport starts the day. Grey day cooking went well, the Sport always seems to pull it off. Lots of good food to be had on a cloudy day including slow roasted chicken, lentils and homemade power bars.
Hazy skies in the morning while cooking banana bread in the grill. Patrick and Emily spent the day on Oz Farm Sanctuary. The farm works as a place where injured animals can to go get better and live in peace. Thank you Sun.
Weather forecast is good until about 11AM. Patrick decides to step up the calories a bit so he makes biscuits and gravy, pizza, calzones and Thai noodle soup. Then he sets the grill up so that it is preheated for tomorrow.
Flying home from Florida in a contemplative mood, Patrick chips some ice off of the GoSun Station when he gets back. Solar cooking in the snow and ice produces some good clean food to nourish a weary traveller.
Patrick says goodbye to dad and meets up with friends Rasun and Marvin Rouse. They cook up they all enjoy some food together. Good friends, good music, good food. Everyone shares good times around the GoSun.
A smoky start to day 20 followed by abundant sunshine. Patrick met with Tony who formerly served with the British Armed forces. Lots of wind, kayaking, kite surfing and family rounds off Patricks 20th day. Time to celebrate.
Spending the day with dad at this softball game. Eating on Day 19 was about prepping some food and getting the sun to do the rest. Absorbing sunlight, Patrick shows us that there is a trick to determining how much sun is left in a day.
It’s a beach day for Patrick, with lunch on the boardwalk from the GoSun Sport and Go and body surfing in the breakers. The day ends in the Everglades, catching the last hour of sunlight and making new friends as he settles in among the gators.
Cooking on the stern of a sailboat in the morning, Patrick and friends take the GoSun Go on the high seas. Before setting sail, the GoSun Grill is loaded with the evenings meal. Back on shore, they enjoy a hot and delicious meal.
