Solar Candy Cane Sugar Cookie Recipe

We all love a good cookie now and then right? Well that's just why we created this delightful combination! A Candy Cane Cookie! We have added below the directions for making them in either the Go solar cooker or the Sport solar oven.

We all love a good cookie now and then right? Well that's just why we created this delightful combination! A Candy Cane Cookie! We have added below the directions for making them in either the Go solar cooker or the Sport solar oven. It's up to you how much candy cane you use! Love it? Add a ton! Don't like it at all? Add a dusting or none. Enjoy and have a wonderful holiday season!

GoSun Go Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 2 TB butter, softened
  • 1 TB cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 1/8 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 crushed candy canes

Directions:

Divide the cookie batter evenly into 2 Go silicone baking pans.  Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

While the cookies cool, combine the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and peppermint extract in a sealable sandwich-size bag.  Knead well. Once the frosting is soft, cut a small hole out of the corner of the bag. Gripping it like a cake decorator bag, squeeze the frosting onto the tops of the cookies.  

Crush candy canes, sprinkle over the frosting, and serve!

  • 7 oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 4 TB butter, softened
  • 2 TB cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • ¼ tsp peppermint extract
  • 4 crushed candy canes   

Directions:

Divide the cookie batter evenly among 7 silicone baking pans (sold separately). Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

While the cookies cool, combine the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and peppermint extract in a sealable quart-size bag.  Knead well. Once the frosting is soft, cut a small hole out of the corner of the bag. Gripping it like a cake decorator bag, squeeze the frosting evenly over the cookies.  

Crush candy canes, sprinkle over frosting, and serve!
